Sue Dalton grew up in the West Midlands. She has a degree in Biological Sciences from Aston University in Birmingham and a Ph.D. obtained at the School of Agriculture in Aberdeen. Her concern for animal welfare led her to a career change and she trained to become an RSPCA Inspector. After long careers in the RSPCA, Sue and her husband Brian retired to the Isle of Skye with their border collie, Molly, where they settled into a lifestyle shaped by the unique environment.
