Professor Lucy Easthope is a leading authority on recovering from disaster. For over two decades she has challenged others to think differently about what comes next, after tragic events. She is a passionate and thought-provoking voice in an area that few know about: emergency planning. Her Sunday Times Bestseller When The Dust Settles was released in 2022 and her next book Come What May will be released in May 2025. She is a Professor at the Centre for Death and Society, University of Bath and Co-Founder of the After Disaster Network, University of Durham. She is also Research Associate at the Joint Centre for Disaster Research, Massey University, New Zealand.
