Karla Zazueta

Karla Zazueta is a Mexican cook, cookery teacher, and food writer based in London. Through her cooking school Mexican Food Memories, she teaches Mexican cuisine and culinary traditions through hands-on classes and monthly supper clubs hosted in her family home.

She explores Mexican cuisine in all its regional diversity, drawing on family recipes, memory, and traditional techniques, with a focus on everyday home cooking.

Her first book, Norteña, published in 2024 by Pavilion, is a collection of traditional recipes from northern Mexico, rooted in her culinary heritage and family food traditions.

Her writing and recipes have been featured in the GuardianBBC Food and the Observer Food Magazine.
